. I've been discussing this book with everyone I've met and have developed a deep passion for the empowerment of women across the world. It is a light quick read, great for summer reading. The hero was handsome, strong, brave, and intense (loved the steamy scenes), but I felt like the heroine was out there and not involved in wanting to love the hero. The Mayor is a joke, they can never take it when they get caught slipping. What the book lacked in emotional expression, though, it more than made up for in an overabundance of description. I love the little moments in the life of Perry and Cole.
